Has

"? In the
early
19th
century
many
bedframes
had
ropes
to
hold
up
the
mattress
.
It
was
hard
to
sleep
well
on a
saggy
mattress
so
people
had to
periodically
tighten
the
ropes
in
order
to
sleep
well
. This
bedkey
was
used
to
turn
the
ropes
and
keep
them
tight
.
